Retro Piano
This is a client's piano. It was the typical natural wood finish from this era. She had me paint it black and age it. I think it was a great idea.
I also think this piano would be great in a slick black with no aging to keep its retro integrity.

This client wanted me to copy a popular Habbersam finish. It was fun because there are lots of little steps.

Kitchen Cabinets

These are my kitchen cabinets. I had wanted white or black cabinets to compliment upper cabinets in a butter cream yellow, but painted finishes on cabinetry are much more expensive than stained finishes. We chose natural maple cabinets with the idea that I would just paint them. The maple cabinets were very inexpensive because they were not a specialty finish like the butter cream. I painted them two years ago, and as hard as me, Adam and the boy are on everything, there is not a single scratch or nick on them yet. Here’s to using the proper products!!!!
Window Corner Benches

These corner benches are a good idea for windows that come below regular furniture height. I don’t think chairs and couches look that great from the outside, when they are shoved back against a low window. I love the extra storage and they also work well when you want to pull up a table.
The wood scrolled bench was made out of decorative panels that you hang on the wall. I just cut two sections off of each end for my bench ends. The lids lift of for easy access.
